Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful time at Crystal Isle RV, enjoying spacious and busy campgrounds near the best manatee parks and tour spots. The staff was quite accommodating and helpful. However, the laundry services were down during my visit, and that was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a solid experience with great fishing and dining nearby.
I found this RV resort to be a beautiful spot, surrounded by nature with close access to a beach and plenty of fishing opportunities. However, during my stay, I faced a few challenges such as limited bathroom facilities and a flooded campsite during rain. Despite this, I appreciated the clean environment and activities for all ages that were offered.
The resort has a lovely location, being close to some great outdoor activities like manatee watching, and offers several amenities for kids. However, our experience was marred by rowdy fellow guests who disrupted our stay, and the cleanliness of the pool and hot tub left a lot to be desired. Overall, it has the potential to be a wonderful getaway with better management and upkeep.
Our camping experience was quite frustrating overall. The location had beautiful springs nearby where we enjoyed kayaking, but we faced numerous issues. Our campsite was a muddy hole, making it difficult to navigate, and the roads were filled with potholes that made driving hazardous. We also encountered poor customer service from the manager, which left a sour taste in our mouths. While the area offers some fun activities, it was overshadowed by the park's many shortcomings.
I was really let down during my stay. The resort has changed significantly, now catering more to children, which took away from the adult activities I used to enjoy. The facilities, including the hot tub, were not in good shape, and the internet was practically non-existent. On the plus side, the surroundings are decent, and the activities used to be fun, but without improvements, I’ll likely look for a different place next year.
